Easy Homemade Fudge Brownies

Sometimes life calls for a homemade batch of brownies. And when they do, your oldest helps to make them between homeschool zooms! These brownies have a flaky crust, they’re moist, and full of chocolatey goodness!

Ingredients:

1/4 cup natural applesauce

8 Tbsp. of butter, softened

1 2/3 cups sugar

2 Tbsp water

2 large eggs

2 tsp vanilla

1 1/3 cup all-purpose flour

3/4 cup Hershey’s cocoa

1/2 tsp baking powder

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly grease a 9 x 13" baking pan and set aside.

2. In a medium bowl combine sugar, butter, applesauce, & water in a large bowl. Mix in eggs and vanilla extract until well combined.

3. In another bowl combine flour, cocoa, & baking powder. Add flour mix into sugar and butter mixture.

4. Pour into the baking pan and bake for 25 mins or until a toothpick inserted into the middle comes out clean. Slightly cool pan on a wire rack and enjoy.
