Healthy Holiday Tip #2

Plan for healthy snacks throughout the day. Snacking can be beneficial for fueling our bodies if we keep it in moderation and are smart about our choices. During the holiday season, eating a small snack before going to an event or having a larger holiday meal can help curb your appetite and prevent overindulging. However, during the pandemic where we may not be going anywhere, we can use the same strategy even in our own homes.

Ideally, you’re looking to pair a starch with a protein source or a healthy fat that will keep you feeling fuller for longer and fueled until your next meal.

I put together a list of 10 TASTY & NUTRITIOUS snacks to help you maintain healthy eating habits.
